We would like to raise money from local businesses to get a community defibrillator to help save lives.
Each year in Britain around 30,000 people are struck by sudden cardiac arrest outside of hospital environments.
12 people under the age of 35 die each week from sudden cardiac arrest.
270 children die from sudden cardiac arrest suffered on school premises.
Every minute without CPR and defibrillation reduces a victim’s survival rate by 7-10 %
Without treatment, 90-95% of cardiac arrests prove fatal.
Please help us to raise funds to purchase a defibrillator for the whole community. For more information please contact Mrs Griffiths.
